Two new Pleasanton restaurants are quickly making names for themselves and getting attention from foodies and food critics alike. Sabio on Main and McKay’s Taphouse and Beer Garden were recently recognized in the 2015 Diablo Food Awards. Sabio on Main’s chef Francis Hogan was recognized as Diablo’s 2015 Artist in the Kitchen. Hogan partnered with entrepreneur Jim McDonnell and general manager Matt Clasen to open the Spanish-inspired restaurant.
Sabio on Main is receiving notice and nods outside of the Tri-Valley as well. Check out the latest San Jose Mercury News Entertainment Review HERE.
McKay’s Taphouse and Beer Garden garnered Diablo’s 2015 Best Bang for your Buck honors with it’s European beer garden, the perfect setting to enjoy 16 local craft beers, 4 wines on tap and “pub food with a chef’s flair,” as described by Barbara McKay, owner along with husband Josh.
